മലപ്പുറം :മലപ്പുറം ലോക്‌സഭാ മണ്ഡലത്തിലേക്കുള്ള ഉപതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ആരംഭിച്ചു. ജില്ലയിലെ 13.12 ലക്ഷം വോട്ടര്‍മാരാണ് ബുധനാഴ്ച സമ്മതിദാനാവകാശം വിനിയോഗിക്കുക. രാവിലെ ഏഴിന് ആരംഭിച്ച വോട്ടെടുപ്പില്‍ പോളിംഗ് സാവധാനമാണ് നടക്കുന്നത്.
അതേസമയം തകരാര്‍ മൂലം 12 വോട്ടിംഗ് മെഷീനുകള്‍ മാറ്റി സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. സ്പീക്കര്‍ പി ശ്രീരാമകൃഷ്ണന്‍ അടക്കമുള്ള പ്രമുഖര്‍ രാവിലെ തന്നെ വോട്ട് ചെയ്തു. മലപുറത്ത് 18.3, മഞ്ചേരി -18.2, കൊണ്ടോട്ടി -19,പെരിന്തല്‍മണ്ണ-12.7, മങ്കട-12, വള്ളിക്കുന്ന് -19.32 ,വേങ്ങര-17.2. എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് പോളിംഗ് .
മുസ്ളിം ലീഗ് എംപി ആയിരുന്ന ഇ അഹമ്മദിന്റെ മരണം മൂലമാണ് ഉപതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് വേണ്ടി വന്നത്.
